As we look forward to 2018 and reflect on the year that was, we want to share some thoughts with our members and friends.
You will remember we called a hiatus of 12 to 18 months after the last federal election. This period is at an end and we are back into the swing of things. Please be prepared to step forward and support our party in upcoming by-elections and the Victorian state election in November 2018.
The question is not whether we’re on left or the right side of politics, but that we are not on the wrong side of history. We will continue to be conservative in some aspects, progressive in others and at all times fiercely pro-Western and patriotic Australians.
We are not career politicians and have established careers outside politics. We speak a clear and direct language. We use Australian larrikinism, provocation and satire, sometimes even in the most serious circumstances. This makes us different from other political parties, it binds us together as members, supporters and fellow Australians.
From our family, the ALA board members and staff, we wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
Yours in Liberty,
Debbie and Tony Robinson
